What time of the day should we schedule our virtual tour photoshoot?
Hi there! I’m Eduard, a Google Streetview Trusted photographer.
Every time when I’m planning a photo shoot with a client the question arises: “What is the best time to schedule the photo shoot for the virtual tour?”
A virtual tour, you should know, is not a popularity contest. It is not to illustrate how many guests how many visitors you have at your business. It’s more to show your business at its’ best.
Ideally there are less people as possible. For example a restaurant it will be ideal to shoot it when it’s still closed, so when there no guests. I can then freely walk around and take 360 degrees photos and do my thing.
In a hotel or resort obviously this is more difficult because there are always guests. So what I plan then often is just after sunrise around 7:30 or 8:30 or so in the morning I start.
Because most guests in general are just either a sleep or just having breakfast: pool areas are free of people, the beaches are still free of people. So it’s most convenient for me to take photos at that time.
But of course we can plan any time of the day!
